I am typically a printmaker, but I employ many artistic formats. Making art is a very personal act. I create an image or an object through my desire to work out some problem or acquire some new information. Since the process has a lot to do with shaping how I feel about the subject, the results can be surprising. When this happens, the viewer can see things I didn't have a chance to hide. Art making becomes a dialog I didn't expect to have.
